Put the litterbox in a private location where no one will bother her. You may find your cat refuses to use the litterbox. It may be because of the litter. Are you buying cheap litter? Thats reasonable, but your companion needs the best kind of litter, or she may go elsewhere. It also may be because the litterbox is not in a private location. Move it somewhere else and make sure your cat knows where it is.
